Juliana has had a strong passion for helping others from a young age. She started out her career path working as a care aid in a residential setting for people with developmental disabilities. During this time, she stumbled upon an opportunity to work in animal welfare. Slowly transitioning from working with people to animals, she took every opportunity to learn more about the critters she cared for.

She has been working at the Chemung County SPCA for the past five years, as a veterinary assistant at Broadway Animal Hospital for over two years, and as an apprentice dog trainer at Simpawtico Dog Training for the past three years.

Juliana shares her life with her dog, Max, and spends most of her free time exploring the outdoors or reading.
