Using the proximity and movement of our bodies to exert a “push.” In some training systems, pressure is used in a corrective manner. We attempt to avoid pressure as a training tool. Pressure is the opposite of spatial gravity. Manipulating both pressure and gravity deftly are powerful skill for a trainer.

Sometimes other people or animals will exert spatial pressure, and how a dog copes with that is often at the heart of many behavior problems. It’s important to be aware and practice accordingly.
